Our Happy Hair Home

Craft House Salon opened its doors the spring of 2018 with the goals of being an upbeat and relaxing multi-use space.

Craft: /noun/ an activity involving skill in making things by hand.

House: /noun/ a building for human habitation, especially one that is lived in by a family or small group of people.

Our Mission at Craft House Salon is to provide an individualized experience cultivated through education, passion, and respect to the environment.

Sustainability is a regular practice here at Craft House Salon. We work exclusively with Davines products, a B-Corp, 100% sustainable company based out of Parma Italy. Davines is owned and operated by fellow hairstylists, making it the best product for in-salon and at home styling.

Aside from products, we strive to be as paperless as possible, and use treeless or recycled papers when going paperless isn’t an option—including our toilet paper.

Craft House Salon is gender neutral. We believe that services should be based on time, education, experience, and achievements; not sex. A Man, woman, or non-binary, will get equal time and attention at each service. As creative individuals, we are fueled by inspiration. Our salon is also a gallery space, with a rotation of artists that use our home to display their collections. We welcome you to attend the opening receptions to help us celebrate the arts.

Connecting with the community and supporting others is an important investment to the Craft House crew. We use our home to host other vendors that support our mission of good vibes and sustainability. Our goal of leaving the world a better place extends well past our hair services. You will often see us participating in fundraisers and charitable events.

All of these things would not be possible without the cornerstone of education. We believe that education is the key to remaining inspired and on top of our game. Craft House Salon employees all complete an in-house training program prior to earning a spot on the salon floor. Our senior staff regularly attend outside education, and regularly push creative boundaries curating photoshoots for editorial work and passion project collections.

Come get crafted.
